Ring grip syringe with rotating male Luer lock is used for hand injection of dye for coronary angiography. It has two rings on either sides which gives a good grip while injecting with significant force. This specimen has a ring at the proximal end of the plunger as well. Distal end is fitted with a rotating male Luer lock to be fixed to the proximal end of the manifold. Distal end of the manifold is attached to the catheter hub. The rotating Luer lock can also be attached directly to the catheter if only fewer injections are needed so that it is not necessary to refill the syringe in between injections. The rotating adaptor facilitates rotation of the catheter for engaging the coronary ostium without kinking. The manifold also has a similar rotating adaptor.
