Can you mention an adverse effect common to many antihypertensive drugs?

Orthostatic hypotension or fall in blood pressure on standing up, is an adverse effect common to diuretics, angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors, known in short as ACE inhibitors, angiotensin receptor blockers or ARB, sympatholytics, all different types of antihypertensive drugs. Combining ACE inhibitors or ARBs with diuretics is more prone for this. This adverse effect is more likely to occur in those who are hypovolemic, that is when the amount of fluid in the body is less as after a bout of diarrhea, vomiting or too much sweating.
