Causes of right bundle branch block pattern in ECG include:

  1. Atrial septal defect
  2. Ebstein’s anomaly of tricuspid valve
  3. Occasionally as a normal variant
  4. Injury to right bundle during cardiac catheterisation
  5. Left ventricular pacing
  6. Post operative, especially following correction of Tetralogy of Fallot
