Cenderitide – novel dual GC-A and GC-B agonist
|Cenderitide – novel dual GC-A and GC-B agonist
Nesiritide (exogenous atrial type natriuretic peptide; ANP) and carperitide (exogenous B-type natriuretic peptide; BNP) activate guanylyl cyclase A (GC-A) which result in the formation of cyclic GMP (cGMP). Guanylyl cyclase B (GC-B) is the receptor of C-type natriuretic peptide. Cenderitide is a novel dual GC-A and GC-B agonist.
