Drug provocation in Brugada syndrome

Which of the following is not used in provocative testing for Brugada syndrome?
a) Ajmaline
b) Isoprenaline
c) Flecainide
d) Procainamide
Correct answer: b) Isoprenaline
ST elevation in Brugada syndrome is quite variable and may need drug challenge for unmasking. Isoprenaline is not used for provocative testing in Brugada syndrome, though it is often used in other conditions for induction of arrhythmia in the electrophysiology lab. In fact Isoprenaline is sometimes used to suppress arrhythmia in Brugada syndrome [1].
